Wynyard Hall, Goes Exclusive for Weddings and Events.
Wynyard Hall is the premier wedding and events venue in the North East. The business is positioned as a destination of choice with its exclusive use offerings. The entire Hall with all of its spectacular rooms, top-quality service, and indulgent bedrooms can be used for a single event and, as a result, can be crafted to the needs of the guests.
Why the change from a day-to-day hotel?
The business model makes the Hall more efficient, delivers a better-quality service and offers unique flexibility to its guests. This provides the best possible experience for exclusive weddings and events. At Wynyard Hall, business owners, directors and event planners experience an exclusive use environment to entertain clients, conduct business, collaborate, celebrate and share knowledge.
Wynyard offers truly remarkable flexibility. From casino evenings and murder mysteries to fine dining and fireworks. Wynyard is a wedding and events venue that crafts occasions and adapts the rooms to suit a wide variety of needs.
The most unique part of Wynyard Hall is the magnificent early 20th century chapel. Not only is the chapel the perfect spot for a wedding, but the space is also hosts corporate Christmas Carol events and much more.
Can I only book an exclusive use event?
Not at all. Smaller meetings still take place regularly and sometimes multiple events happen on the same day. The exclusive use packages for weddings and events give our clients the option to make Wynyard their home for the day.
Is it possible to still stay at the Hall?
Yes, you can. The renovated bedrooms within the Hall offer the perfect solution to a corporate getaway. The bedrooms are opened in the Hall when they are booked as part of an event. There are also four luxurious self-catering cottages, which include private hot tubs. The cottages can cater for up to twelve guests, providing the ideal location for a corporate layover or business development getaway.
What is open to the public?
Most of the estate is still open to daily visitors. In summer 2021, Wynyard Hall opened the plot-to-plate restaurant, The Glass House. This popular eatery focusses on picking fresh ingredients cultivated in the estate’s kitchen garden. The produce is sourced from local suppliers within a 20-mile radius. The Glass House is open Wednesday – Sunday for brunch, lunch, and dinner. The Glass House also has its own private dining room. This space is a wonderful spot for private gatherings or to close an all-important business deal.

The Gardens are situated alongside the Farm shop and Café where patrons can enjoy a coffee, a rustic high tea or just browse the fantastic items on sale.
With some of the best views on the estate, the Spa delivers service to match the amazing natural beauty of the area. Clients can enjoy a soak in a hot tub or experience a delicious meal overlooking the magnificent lake. The skilled therapists provide treatments designed to relax and invigorate and because of this, guests can also make use of the wide range of calming spaces designed to help you to unwind.
