With wedding season fast approaching, it’s been a busy couple of months at Wynyard Hall – we’ve refurbished the conservatory and we’re planning our next wedding fayre (Wed 27th April 2016, 5.30pm – 9pm).
Our Wedding Co-ordinators often get asked for tips on wedding planning, including how to make the most of their wedding photos and videos. So, we asked our recommended videographers, Chris and Janet Hughes from One Digital Image, for their expert advice on choosing who films your big day…
Find a style of wedding video that you love – it should make you laugh, cry and above all, want to see more. There are several companies that film weddings, and each has a very different style.
Top tip – Once you’ve shortlisted videographers, make sure you watch a full video so you can see the wedding from start to finish.
Budget, budget, budget
We all know that weddings are a little pricey. Your wedding film can form one of the most important parts of your memories, spanning generations and can even be history in the making.
Top tip – Please don’t choose a wedding film based on budget alone, make sure it’s right for you.
Enjoy your wedding day and spend as much time as possible with your guests. Every second is important and if you have it filmed, those moments can last forever.
Top tip – Make sure you meet and like the people who will be filming your special day. They’ll be with you and your guests all day, so it’s important you get on!
