More than 100 horses and riders immaculately turned out and groomed gathering at the front of the Hall pay respects to the fallen this Remembrance Sunday, 10th November 2019.

Formal service and wreath-laying at 11am with a parade of horses and hounds from the Highmoor Bloodhounds (bloodhounds trained ONLY to follow humans and NOT wildlife).

Spectators free of charge very welcome.

Not your usual Remembrance Sunday service.

Proceeds to Household Cavalry Foundation and Here4Horses charity.


– From 9am – Arrival & parking

– 10:15 – All horses to be mounted

– 10:30 – Horses & riders to proceed to the Hall from the coach car park via the Lions Bridge

– 10:40 – Service

– 11:00 – 2-minute silence

– 11:00 -11:10 – National anthem & 1 hymn

…Followed by a parade thereafter….horses to proceed on a walk/ trot back over the lion’s bridge and over the other side of the lake, and then go back to the coach car park before going on an 8 mile hack around Brieley Wood up to Smith & Ray Craggs (optional for followers)
