Nestled within our kitchen garden, a short walk from the main house, dine in the relaxed atmosphere of our Victorian glasshouse, surrounded by botany. Where home grown produce has been cultivated since the 1800's, a perfect blend of heritage and contemporary British cooking. A place to enjoy the freshest seasonal food, harvested straight from our kitchen garden.
Our carefully managed kitchen garden, led by our kitchen gardener Beth, features a large variety of flavoursome and unusual produce. From classic British apples and pears that grow up the sides of our walled garden to purple sprouting broccoli, rainbow chard and an abundance of herbs and medicinal plants.
Alongside our own produce, we carefully pick the best local suppliers who cultivate the best produce the North East land and coast has to offer.
Wednesday to Saturday from 11:00am until 11:00pm: Last orders at 10:30pm for drinks, 8:00pm for food. Last orders for food on Friday and Saturday is 9:00pm.
Sunday from 12:00 noon until 6:30pm, last orders at 4:30pm.
The Glass House will be open from 11am – 12noon for morning coffee Wednesday – Saturday.
Closed Monday and Tuesday.
