Embark on a unique dining experience at The Wellington Restaurant. Executive Head Chef (Michael Penaluna) and his team, are passionate about using the best, seasonal, local produce. With much of the ingredients grown on or foraged from the Wynyard Estate, sustainability and a passion for great tasting food is at the heart of everything we do!
The Wellington restaurant is open to all diners, both non-resident as well as those guests staying with us. That’s why we’ve created an extensive All Day Dining menu so you can eat what you want, when you want. The All Day Dining menu focuses on simple dishes, done well. No tricks, just honest flavours, locally sourced produce and plenty of attention to detail. Served daily between 12 noon and 9.30 pm.
Served in the Library and Wellington Restaurant, Wynyard Hall offers a unique setting in which to enjoy Afternoon Tea. The fare includes a seasonal selection of fluffy scones, dainty cakes, pastries and savouries, plus an extensive loose leaf tea menu. Gentleman’s and children’s menus are also available.
