The Wellington Restaurant at Wynyard Hall

Offering a unique dining experience in the heart of the North East, this classically styled
restaurant, with its warming red tones, roaring log fires and luxurious fabrics provides an
evocative and relaxed atmosphere. Once visited by royalty and prime ministers it is now available for all to enjoy.

Aptly named after the Duke of Wellington, whose regular visits are commemorated by a huge 127 foot high obelisk in the centre of Wynyard’s historical parkland.

The impressive menu, with regional, traditional dishes, with French and sometimes Eastern influences will be ever changing but never dull. Imaginatively created and seasonally charged, the freshest produce from local suppliers is used wherever it can be.

Accompanied by an extensive hand picked wine list from around the world and with exemplary service we truly believe we the Hall has created something very special.
